The deal was contingent on Pepi not getting injured before the transfer was processed. Pepi has 27 goals in 2,105 minutes over the last two seasons for PSV.
Why it matters for Fulham
Fulham has since signed Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid for £34 million ($45 million) this summer. However, Pepi's future remains uncertain, and it's unclear if he will stay at PSV or join another club.
PSV hosts Fortuna Sittard on Saturday to open the domestic league season. Pepi is on course to take part in the Champions League again, and he has traditionally performed well in the competition. He is the USMNT's third all-time leading scorer in the Champions League, with six goals in 20 appearances.
