Fulham's Pursuit of Cesar Palacios

Fulham have reportedly intensified their interest in bringing Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder Cesar Palacios to Craven Cottage. The move is seen as a potential replacement for Harry Wilson, who left on a free transfer after scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in 36 Premier League appearances last season.

New Fulham boss Alvaro Arbeloa has identified Palacios as an ideal fit for the club's attacking needs. The 21-year-old made his senior debut under Arbeloa during the 2025-26 season, going on to make seven appearances in the second half of that campaign.

According to The Athletic, Fulham are making progress in discussions with Real Madrid and are optimistic about securing a deal. Los Blancos are reportedly including rights and clauses for future sales as part of any potential transfer.

Advanced Talks Over Gonzalo Garcia Transfer

Fulham is also believed to be close to finalizing a separate deal for striker Gonzalo Garcia, who previously played under Arbeloa at Real Madrid. The club had initially faced disappointment in their pursuit of the player but recently made an approach over a potential transfer.

Garcia is keen to return to the Premier League and play alongside his former manager, which could make him an attractive option for Fulham. Currently, Arbeloa is working with Rodrigo Muniz and Jonah Kusi-Asare as his main centre-forward options but looks set to bolster this position with the addition of Garcia.

The reunions with Palacios and Garcia would not only strengthen Fulham's squad but also provide a familiar face for the players who previously worked under Arbeloa at Real Madrid.
