Fulham midfielder Jayden Quashie has signed a new three-year professional contract with the club. The deal, confirmed by Fulham FC this week, will keep the academy graduate at Motspur Park until the summer of 2029.
Quashie's ambition is to break into the First Team, a goal he will pursue as the senior side prepares for its next Premier League fixture. Marco Silva's squad currently sits 12th in the table with zero points from one game, having scored two goals and conceded three.
Jayden Quashie has been with Fulham for 11 years, having joined as an Under-10 player from Junior Elite. He progressed through every age group at the club's Motspur Park training ground. His first professional contract came in the 2024/25 campaign, a season where he also captained the Under-18s to a top-five finish in the Premier League South and won the club's Scholar of the Year award. He then stepped up to captain the Under-21s during the early stages of that season, demonstrating leadership from a young age.
In his first full season at Under-21 level, Quashie made a significant attacking impact from midfield. He registered 10 goal contributions across 18 appearances in Premier League 2. His form accelerated after the turn of the year, with eight of those contributions coming after New Year's Day. This consistent output showcased his development and ability to influence games at a higher level of youth football.
The new season has seen Quashie continue his goalscoring form. He found the net in the opening pre-season friendly at Aldershot Town and also scored in a 4-3 victory over Burnley's Under-21s. Both strikes came from similar areas just outside the penalty area, highlighting a potent weapon in his game. This early form is a positive sign as he aims to impress the first-team coaching staff.
Securing Quashie on a long-term deal is a clear investment in the club's academy pipeline. The three-year professional contract runs until 2029, providing stability for the player and the club. Quashie expressed his delight at the new deal. "Signing my second professional contract with Fulham is an unbelievable feeling," he said. He added, "I’m hungry to keep improving, keep pushing myself and hopefully make many more memories in a Fulham shirt."
His continued development will be tracked alongside the senior team's progress. Fulham begins this season six points behind early leaders Manchester City.
