The initiative is part of the league-wide 'Together Against Suicide' partnership with Samaritans. The club currently sits 16th in the Premier League table with 0 points from two games, having scored twice but conceded four goals.
A qualified Mental Health Worker will be present at the stadium for every Fulham home game during the 2026/27 campaign. This professional will offer a safe and confidential space for any supporter who needs to talk. The service is completely free and operates independently from the club's regular matchday operations. Supporters can access this resource without any prior appointment or referral.
Two physical locations have been designated for quiet conversations. On matchdays, a bench will be situated on Stevenage Road near the stadium. Throughout the rest of the week, a similar bench will be available on Fulham Pier. The club's message emphasizes that you don't need to be an expert to help someone. "Sometimes, giving someone a little extra time is enough to start changing a life," Fulham Football Club said.
The club is actively encouraging supporters to participate in a short, anonymous survey. Completing this survey opens the door to involvement in various community events. These include a supporter football tournament, charity activities, Christmas events, and other opportunities for fans to connect.
For immediate crisis support, Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Anyone experiencing emotional distress or thoughts of suicide can call 116 123 free from any phone. For non-urgent mental health concerns, individuals are advised to speak with their GP. If someone needs urgent mental health help without immediate danger, they should call 111 and select option 2 for the Mental Health Crisis Service. In a life-threatening emergency involving serious injury or immediate risk, call 999 and go to the nearest A&E department.
The launch comes as Marco Silva's team prepares for a challenging away fixture against Liverpool on September 12th. The Reds currently sit 13th in the table. Fulham finds itself six points behind early leaders Manchester City after the opening two matches.
