According to reports by Fabrizio Romano, Fulham are close to finalizing a deal for Palacios. The Spanish giants have expressed their desire to retain control over the player's future, which could see them include a buy-back clause in any potential transfer agreement. This means that if Fulham decide to sell him back to Real Madrid in the future, they would be able to do so at an agreed-upon price.
Palacios made his first-team debut for Real Madrid after working his way through the club's youth ranks. He went on to make five substitute appearances in LaLiga, playing a total of 81 minutes as Real Madrid finished second in the league this season.
