Fulham FC has announced a special Black History Month legends tour at Craven Cottage featuring two of the club's pioneering Black players. The event on Saturday 3 October will be led by Stan Horne, the club's first ever black player, and Terry Angus, who made 112 appearances for the Whites.
Tickets for the tour, which runs from 5.30pm to 9pm, are priced at £40 for adults and £35 for juniors. It includes access to the dressing rooms, The Cottage, the trophy cabinet and other iconic stadium locations. A panel talk hosted by Ivan Berry will feature Horne and Angus, with light refreshments available.
Spots are limited and can be booked online or by calling the Stadium Tours team on 0203 841 9057, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Historical significance
Stan Horne joined Fulham in the 1968-69 season, making 88 appearances and helping restore the club to the second tier. Terry Angus arrived in the 1993/94 season and became a popular figure with supporters during a challenging period that saw the club sink to the bottom tier before winning promotion in 1997. The event highlights a broader history, from early figures like Heggy Hegazi, who scored on his sole Fulham appearance in 1911, to the signing of Horne as the club's first Black professional.
